In Zagreb & Croatia there are practically no experts on guitar appraisal. Some guitar shops offer second hand instruments claiming to be originals with no modifications, and of certain vintage which is almost always false. Also, the prices in Croatia are generally heavy under European market value . This is area where also some second hand instrument dealers will buy your instrument for small amount claiming that it is not worth much, and then take it outside Croatia to another dealer to make profit. Also I will in some time describe mods for el. guitars which I found over many years to be the best.
